Sensory Assessments can offer clarity in understanding how we interpret our world and look to adapting our environments so that we can fully participate in all aspects of our lives. Understanding our children’s sensory preferences can help us adjust their daily life so that their sensory needs are being met in helpful ways.

Our children are unique, including their ability to respond to sensory input. When there is a mismatch between sensory preferences and the environment, it is difficult to thrive. What one child may experience as a fun time at Science World, could be overwhelming and and chaotic to another.

We help you recognize how your child interacts with their world and identify ways to support them. We arm you with the tools to help your child to discover new ways to best cope with their environment and embrace who they are.

We offer standardized sensory assessments that can be done with parents and/or other caregivers such as daycare providers in order to develop the best plan possible so our children can fully participate in their day to day activities and truly just be kids.
