Tracy, our occupational therapist is here to support you.

As our children grow it can become more challenging to parent them in the way that feels best to us. Our goal at Woodlands Collective is for you to feel connected with your child, support their development, manage power struggles and big emotions. We want you to have the confidence to create peace and predictability in your home.

We have an incredible Occupational Therapist, Tracy as part of our team. Tracy specializes in neurodivergent diagnosis from a holistic and community perspective and can support you if you have questions or concerns around your child’s development ensuring that you and your family have the tools to ensure your child is thriving. Tracy is able to work with families within the home and childcare settings, assessing and developing a plan that meets the needs of everyone involved. 

If your family is pursuing a diagnosis, not only can it be stressful, but oftentimes families are unaware of what is available to them and how to navigate the system. Tracy can walk alongside you and your family in supporting your family and taking one less task off your plate.

Services available to families;

• Assessment and review of children's developmental milestones for early detection of any concerns. Most common including questions around sensory processing disorders, emotional regulation and social learning. 

• Individualized intervention plan for parents to implement in the home for optimal teaching, learning and connection with your chil

• Strategies and recommendations for families and caregivers in order to create environments where children can thrive

• System navigation if required (i.e funding agencies)*

Services available for childcare centers;

• Environmental consultation for sensory friendly spaces

• Inventory list of sensory friendly equipment

• Workshops for professional development including education on foundational principles of sensory integration, universal design strategies and common developmental patterns to know when to refer on 

• Professional development workshops available on request; lunch and learns, in person education sessions, virtual education settings (please email Tracy for further details, tracy@woodlandscollective.ca)
