MEET THE BABY WHISPERER
Hey parents, I’m Georgina!
Pediatric sleep consultant, registered social worker & fellow mama. Raising 2 wildly different sleepers showed me there’s no one-size-fits-all solution and no matter how much you want your baby to sleep, you can’t MAKE them.
Being a new mum really opened my eyes to the importance of quality nesting time, a supportive pack and most crucially, a good night & sleep. My mental health was taking a beating and I dreaded the nighty-night routine back then. By the time the sunset, this tired mama had nothing left to give. My energy reserves were tapped and the uphill battle of bedtime was stressful.
Until I realized the actual reason why my newborn and I struggled. I was so laser-focused on just getting him to sleep that I neglected building the foundations of his sleep routine and the cuddly bonding moments. That’s when everything changed, in the best possible way.
If you want to feel prepared for all the newborn nuzzles, nighttime adventures reality awakenings (cue the diaper explosions),
this is the workshop that shows you how.

Can Insurance Cover Sleep Support?
Good news: it might.
Many of our sleep support services may be covered through extended health benefits in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario if your plan includes coverage for a Registered Social Worker (RSW).
Because some of our consultants are also Registered Social Workers, you may be able to submit your receipt for reimbursement through your benefits provider.
Why Does This Matter?
Sleep isn't just about sleep.
When you're exhausted, overwhelmed, and running on very little rest, it affects the whole family. That's why our approach goes beyond bedtime routines and wake windows. We also support parents through the emotional and mental load that often comes with sleep challenges.
Working with a Registered Social Worker means your support may qualify under many extended health plans.
How to Check Your Coverage
The easiest way is to contact your benefits provider or log in to your benefits portal.
Look for coverage under:
Registered Social Worker (RSW)
Social Work Services
Mental Health Services
Most plans do not require a doctor's referral, but every provider is different, so it's always worth checking.
A Quick Note
Coverage varies from plan to plan, so we can't guarantee reimbursement. If you're unsure, reach out to your provider before booking.
And if your plan doesn't cover it? You'll still have lifetime access to practical, evidence-informed sleep support you can return to whenever your little one decides to keep things interesting.
Why Parents Work With a Baby Sleep Consultant in Canada
There is no shortage of baby sleep advice online. The challenge is that much of it contradicts itself.
One article says your baby is overtired. Another says they're undertired. Social media says one thing. Your neighbour says another. Before long, you're trying five different approaches and wondering why none of them seem to work.
That's where working with a baby sleep consultant can help.
Instead of guessing your way through night wakings, short naps, early mornings, or bedtime struggles, you have someone who can help you understand what may be happening and what steps make sense for your child.
At Woodlands Collective, we believe baby sleep isn't about finding a magic solution or following a perfect schedule. It's about understanding your child's unique temperament, development, feeding patterns, and daily rhythms so you can make decisions with confidence.
Whether you're navigating newborn sleep, toddler sleep challenges, or simply looking for trustworthy guidance, our goal is to help you spend less time searching for answers and more time enjoying your family.
